The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management.  The purpose of our chapter is to provide personal and professional development for those who are interested in the field of HR, or occupations that fall within the same business-related category.  Our chapter will give members the opportunity to develop and grow in leadership skills, public speaking and professional networking.  Our goal is to help students that are in our organization develop in the essential areas needed to strive in the business world.  We want to give students the opportunity to network with well-respected local business leaders, as well as the general business community, in both a fun and beneficial way.”
