Western Illinois University-Quad Cities, Monday, September 26th, 2016– Western Illinois University-Quad Cities’ Communication Student Society will be hosting a Presidential Debate watch party with a discussion led by Janna Deitz, Professor of Political Science and Director of Public Leadership and Outreach.
Reception with refreshments will begin at 7:00 p.m. followed a live stream of the debate at 8:00 p.m. with a discussion to follow. Rock Island County Residents will be able to register to vote at the event. Those who wish to register to vote should bring a valid I.D. and a piece of mail with an address.
Discussion will focus on communication strategies of candidates and Communication Student Society asks that you please leave political differences at the door. The Presidential Debate Watch Party will take place at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities, Riverfront Hall 103/104 at 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL.
