IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR TEXTBOOKS

If we do not receive your rented books by December 18th, a prepaid UPS label will be emailed to your WIU email address for their return. Please note that this email will come from pkginfo@ups.com. It is important that you make sure to check both your junk and spam folders in case it is filtered there versus your inbox.

Prior to the due date, you will receive a couple ‘rental reminder’ emails from the Bookstore which will list every book you’ve rented from us.

Please make sure these are the books you return.

Again, all rentals MUST be received by December 31st, 2020 to avoid any charges to your account. These charges are non-reversible.

Book Buy-Back:

In-store textbook buyback will be conducted in the WIU Bookstore November 18th – 20th and December 14th – 18th. Any non-rented textbooks can be sold during these times for cash, regardless of where you purchased them from.

For students enrolled in the WIU-QC campus, or students not wanting or able to come to the bookstore in person, the WIU Bookstore offers an online buyback option on their website. Please visit bookstore.wiu.edu and click on ‘Sell Your Textbooks’ to use this online method. Directions and options will be provided. Most, but not all textbooks, will have a cash value available.

Please note, the online buyback option is facilitated by a third party company and not the WIU Bookstore directly. Do not sell any rented textbooks or textbooks you want to keep. You will not be able to get books back after opting to sell them through the online option.

Spring Textbooks:

Spring 2021 textbooks will be available for purchase beginning December 14th, 2020. Online ordering for your Spring textbooks is strongly encouraged in an effort to avoid lines and congestion in the Bookstore as the spring semester begins.

If you have one of the following book awards, do not order before January 4th, 2021 as awards will not be active until then.
